These terms apply to every shop ("the shop", "you") that uses OfferLak for Shops, the OfferLak Console or any other OfferLak tool for businesses, operated by OfferLak ("OfferLak", "we"). They work together with your shop's agreement, which you accept in the app and which states your fee. If the two differ, the agreement prevails for the fee and these terms for everything else.
1. Your account and your team
- The owner's phone number opens the shop's account. The owner is responsible for the account and for everyone invited to it.
- Give each person only the role they need: owners manage everything, managers run offers, branches and staff, cashiers scan coupons. Remove people who leave.
- Keep shop details true and current: name, category, branches with their real location and opening hours, and contact numbers. OfferLak may verify them before the shop's offers appear.
2. Offers
- You decide each offer: the discount, the conditions, the branches, the days and hours, the number of coupons and how long a coupon stays valid.
- An offer must be real and lawful: true prices and photos of what you actually sell, no misleading claims, and nothing that breaks the law or public decency.
- You must honour every valid coupon presented under the offer's conditions, at the listed branches and during its hours, until its coupons run out or you end it. Pausing or ending an offer does not cancel coupons already claimed: honour them until they expire.
- OfferLak may review, correct, reject, pause or remove an offer that breaks these rules or that draws repeated justified complaints, and will tell you why.
3. Redeeming coupons
- Give the discount only after scanning the coupon's QR code or entering its code in OfferLak for Shops or the Console and seeing it confirmed.
- Each confirmed scan is recorded as a redemption with the time, branch and staff member. These records are the basis of your statements.
- If you believe a redemption was recorded in error, dispute it in the app within 48 hours. We review disputes with the records and correct the statement when the dispute is justified.
4. Fees and statements
- OfferLak is free for customers. The shop pays a fee for each redeemed coupon, as set in its agreement: a fixed amount or a percentage of the deal, within the minimum and maximum the agreement states, after any free redemptions it grants.
- Each month we issue a statement listing the redemptions and the fees. It is available in the app and the Console as a PDF.
- A statement is due 14 days after it is issued. We send reminders, and we collect payment by the methods shown on the statement.
- If a statement is still unpaid 21 days after it is issued, the shop cannot publish new offers. After 45 days its offers are taken off the map until the balance is paid. Amounts owed remain due if the shop stops using OfferLak.
- We change a shop's fee only through a new agreement that the owner accepts in the app; fees already recorded do not change.
5. Customer data
- You see what you need to serve a customer: the coupon, the offer and a masked phone number. You must not try to identify, contact or market to customers using information from OfferLak, or share it with anyone.
- Keep the devices used to scan coupons locked and remove access for people who no longer work for you.
- Your own business data stays yours. We use it to run OfferLak as described in our privacy policy.
6. Your content
You allow OfferLak to show your shop's name, logo, photos and offers in the OfferLak apps and website and in OfferLak's own promotion, for as long as you use OfferLak. You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload.
7. Your responsibility
The shop is responsible for its products and services, for its prices, and for following the laws that apply to its business, including consumer protection and health rules. OfferLak is not a party to the sale between the shop and its customer.
8. Suspension and ending
- The owner can stop using OfferLak at any time by ending the shop's offers and contacting us to close the account; unpaid fees remain due.
- We may suspend or close a shop for fraud (for example fake redemptions), repeated failure to honour coupons, unpaid statements, or serious breaches of these terms, after warning the owner when that is reasonable.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, OfferLak is not responsible for lost sales or other indirect losses, and our total responsibility to a shop is limited to the fees it paid us in the three months before the event. Nothing limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes
When we change these terms we publish the new version with its date and ask the owner to accept it in the app. A shop that does not accept a new version can keep honouring its existing coupons but cannot publish new offers.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Syria; disputes that cannot be settled amicably go to the competent courts of Homs. Contact: OfferLak · Homs, Syria · support@offerlak.com
