These terms are the agreement between you and OfferLak ("OfferLak", "we") when you use the OfferLak app and website. By creating an account you accept them, together with our privacy policy.
1. What OfferLak is
OfferLak shows offers that local shops publish, on a map and in lists, and gives you free coupons for them. OfferLak is not the seller. Each shop is responsible for its products and services, their quality and their prices, and for honouring its offer under the conditions shown in the app.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a phone number that you own and can receive WhatsApp messages on. One account per person.
- Keep your phone and your sign-in codes to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- You can browse offers without an account; you need one to claim coupons, save favourites and receive notifications.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
3. Coupons
- Coupons are free. They are personal: you may not sell, trade or transfer them.
- Each offer sets its own limits, for example how many coupons a person may hold, the days and hours it runs, the branches where it applies and how long a claimed coupon stays valid. The app shows these conditions before you claim.
- Show the coupon (its QR code or its code) at a listed branch of the shop while it is valid. A coupon can be used once. When the shop scans it, it is used.
- The shop may refuse a coupon that has expired, has already been used, or is shown outside the offer's conditions.
- Offers have limited quantities. A coupon you claim is reserved for you until it expires or you cancel it; an offer may end once its coupons run out.
- Prices, discounts and currencies are set by the shop. OfferLak does not charge you anything.
4. Fair use
You agree not to:
- use several accounts or someone else's phone number to collect more coupons than an offer allows;
- copy, sell or exchange coupons, or show a coupon that is not yours;
- send false reports, or harass shops, their staff or other people;
- collect data from OfferLak automatically (scraping), reverse-engineer the apps, or interfere with or overload our systems;
- use OfferLak for anything unlawful.
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, cancel coupons obtained by breaking them, and keep the records needed to deal with it.
5. Problems with a shop or an offer
If a shop does not honour a valid coupon, if an offer is wrong, or if a shop has closed or moved, report it from the offer or the shop page in the app. We review every report, may contact the shop, and can correct, pause or remove offers and shops. We cannot promise a particular outcome for each report.
6. Content and our brand
The OfferLak apps, website, name, logo and design belong to us. Offer texts and photos belong to the shops, which allow us to show them. You may use OfferLak for your own personal use only.
7. The service
We work to keep OfferLak available and the information in it accurate, but offers are written and updated by the shops, and the service can be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control. OfferLak is provided "as is". We may change, add or remove features.
8. Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, OfferLak is not responsible for the products and services that shops provide, for a shop's refusal to honour an offer, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
9. Notifications
We send the notifications you choose in the app's Settings, and messages about your account and coupons (for example a coupon about to expire). Sign-in codes are sent on WhatsApp.
10. Ending
You can stop using OfferLak and delete your account at any time, in the app (Account → Delete account) or on our account deletion page. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you when that is reasonable.
11. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we publish the new version with its date. If the change is important we will ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue using it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Syria. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably goes to the competent courts of Homs.
